Tapuwae Roa is proud to present our Pūrongo-a-tau mō te tau 2024–2025.
This financial year was one of progression and focus as the Trust entered the third year of its Five-Year Strategic Plan. Building on strong foundations, the Trust continued to expand delivery of kaupapa across our Ngā Pou Whakaaweawe (Impact Outcomes).
From facilitating the second annual Tupu Business Accelerator to seeing the inaugural He Tukutuku Koiora cohort transition onto their host boards for the programme’s final stretch, the Trust continues to create impact while adapting to the evolving needs and aspirations of our people.
Delivering on the recommendations from last year’s Four-Year Audit, the Trust also significantly expanded its activity within our Tangaroa oceans pou, moving from a passive funder to actively supporting kura and schools to participate in STEMM initiatives through dedicated programmes.
Grounded in identity, strengthened by evidence, and guided by tikanga, our focus remains steadfast on creating lasting impact for Māori. Each kaupapa we deliver, every partnership we forge, and every investment we make is part of a wider legacy that began with those who came before us.
Heading into 2026, our focus on improvement and bold delivery will continue to guide our waka toward the Hawaiiki we strive for. Through deliberate action and collective purpose, we are building momentum for a future where Māori thrive as Māori, in every space and every generation.
