Last year, Tapuwae Roa was featured as a case study in the Philanthropic Landscape Volume II report.

Published by the Centre for Social Impact in partnership with J R McKenzie Trust, the report seeks to understand how mana-enhancing partnerships and investments support hapori to create impact.

Building on the findings published in The Philanthropic Landscape Volume I in 2019. Tapuwae Roa was one of ten trusts and foundations across Aotearoa and Australia who shared kōrero on creating impactful, mana-enhancing funding partnerships.

Within the case study, the report explores how Tapuwae Roa’s impact investment, funding, and programming works to achieve its goals. Furthermore, it details the Trust’s approach to ‘de-risking’ investment for other parties into shared kaupapa and the Trust plans to mobilise capital towards outcomes for Māori.
