Te Pūoho was also a formidable champion of our Ōhanga workstream and its unapologetic ambition for Māori economic emancipation. Under his leadership, we launched the Tupu Accelerator, helping to forge a more connected entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports pakihi Māori to progress from bold ideas towards investment readiness, scale and enduring prosperity.
“Te Pūoho has made an indelible contribution to Tapuwae Roa. He led our organisation through a defining period of transformation, honouring the foundations laid before him while having the courage to imagine what more we could become,” says Maria Ngawati, Chair of Tapuwae Roa.

As Tapuwae Roa enters its next chapter, Kylie Grigg (Te Atiawa) has stepped into the role of Interim Kaihautū and will guide the organisation through this period of transition.
